God’s church is to be deliberate about its divine mandate to take the gospel to the ends of the earth. Both regionally and globally, we seek to serve others according to Jesus’ example and command by carrying the good news of salvation to everyone. We want to glorify God in our community by loving others the way He does. And we must look to the horizons, prayerfully asking for the privilege of taking His message to every tribe, tongue and nation. We desire to be a church which reflects God’s heart for the lost and His heart for the world.
We ask those who consider We their home church to give financially to support its ministries. We believe God calls us to give generously. That said, everything we have comes from God. Yep, He owns everything. So for His followers to give a small portion back to the local church…well, we don’t think it’s a big deal.
And we ask our worshipping community to serve others, both inside and outside our walls. We are grateful recipients of God’s lavish riches. He calls us to follow His lead by giving to others. It may seem like Westwind is a well-oiled machine, with every need being met, but there’s definitely a place for you.
Ways We Contribute
Regional Ministry | If Westwind ceased to exist, we hope that Waukee and the surrounding communities would miss us. That they would do whatever they could to keep us around.
