Connections are important to women.  That is why Westwind is hosting its first women’s ministry event. On Wednesday, August 4th (7-9PM), Westwind is hosting a beach party event just for women at the Raccoon River Nature Center in West Des Moines. The event is designed to connect the women of Westwind together. There will be food, prizes, testimonies, and lost of connecting. The tickets cost only $5 and can be purchased starting July 11 at women’s event table. Join us for our first ever women’s event!

What does it mean to truly worship God? How are we to bring our souls before the Maker of the Universe? The Book of Psalms is filled with hymns, praises, laments, and thanksgivings all designed to help the reader have a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. This eleven-part series takes a look at various styles of psalms throughout the Book of Psalms and compares each to the worship dance we are to have with our Creator. Understanding the psalms more, helps us to understand God more, and how to talk with him in our own worship dance language. This series will help define how you worship the LORD God.
