Anyone who has come to the point where they consider Westwind Church their home church is encouraged to prayerfully consider becoming an owner.
Ownership allows you to take part in the decision-making process of the church by giving you voting status. Proposals to the budget and other issues are often subject to church ownership approval (voting majority). Becoming a owner of Westwind also grants a deeper sense of accountability in your walk with Christ. By becoming a owner, you are making a greater expression of commitment and “followership” to the vision, goals and leadership of Westwind, and, at the same time, the pastoral staff and elders can better care for and disciple you. One example of this is that the elders pray for you on a regular basis.
As a owner, you are also committing to serve the Westwind worshipping community. There are many areas to get involved in where you can best use your gifts to help Westwind and to glorify God.
To pursue ownership, fill out the form below. New members are approved by the elders.
